Domestic and International Health Certificates

Traveling with a pet may require specific health exams, vaccinations, testing, documentation, and timing. Our USDA-accredited veterinarians can help prepare the veterinary documents required for domestic and international travel.

Requirements vary based on your destination, pet, travel date, route, and method of transportation, so we must review your travel details before confirming appointments, services, or pricing.

Completing travel requirements can take two weeks to six months to complete. Please reach out early!

La Crescenta Pet Domestic and International Health Certificates

Where Are You Traveling?

International, Hawaii, or a U.S. Territory

Use the PassPaw tool below to enter your destination and basic travel information. PassPaw will provide an overview of veterinary requirements for supported destinations and help you begin the health certificate process. Please review the requirements carefully.

After we receive your submission, we will contact you to schedule an initial visit. At this visit, we will:

  • Scan your pet’s microchip to confirm it reads properly and is an internationally standard 15-digit number.
  • Collect and scan additional medical records or vaccination history if available.
  • Collect a $250 research fee. This fee covers the time required to review your records and compare them with your destination’s import requirements. It does not guarantee that your pet will be able to travel.

After the visit, we will create your PassPaw application. You will receive an email inviting you to create an account where you can view your timeline and progress.

Once we have reviewed the records you provided, we will email you an estimate. This will typically be the same, or next, day.
